In When Somebody Smiles, TTS transforms canvases into contemplative spaces with quiet yet dynamic energy. Drawing inspiration from Chinese monochrome glazed porcelain and embossed pattern techniques, the artist integrates ancient aesthetics with contemporary motifs through simple yet profound colour palettes.

Soft abstract forms in muted pastels float across white grounds, each bearing a subtle embossed smile character (笑). Translucent acrylic chains carry gradient-coloured smiles through the space, while ceramic "Happy Bean" sculptures rest on crimson cushions. Together, these works bridge heritage craftsmanship and minimalist expression, finding profound warmth in the simplest of gestures.
