As an architect by profession, Lop Yan integrates his professional principles with his love of art, creating his own unique art form that combines architectural discipline and artistic expression. He interprets Chinese traditional landscape painting, taking nature as the inspiration for their contemporary forms.

Lop Yan’s artistic mission is to preserve traditional Chinese art and culture, and to express the vivid rhythmic vitality combination of Chinese calligraphy with abstract expression methods. In 2021, Lop Yan was named one of the year’s “Most Outstanding Persons” by Today’s Chinese Journal.
